Workshop Description
A beginner-friendly intro to wet felting 03/28/25 | 6:30-9:30pm Join Studio Mooi owner and founder Tanya in learning the basics of wet felting. In this 3 hour beginner-friendly workshop, we will start with learning the basic steps and techniques wet felting. We will make a small felted bowls using the following steps: laying out the wool fibre, wetting the fibre and rolling it to merge the fibre together. The result will be precious and unique trinket bowls. From there you will be able to further explore your felting journey and use your newfound skills to branch off into creating other wonderful projects. AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 16+ (with a participating adult) LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary MATERIALS PROVIDED Project kit with pre-packed roving Water bottles for felting Soap PLEASE NOTE: Bring 1 old towel and a plastic bag. All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
