Back by popular demand: Unleash your imagination at Studio Mooi's Puppet Palooza Summer Camp!! This week-long adventure is perfect for kids ready to dive into the magical world of puppetry. Campers will design and create their very own puppets, explore the fascinating history and variety of puppet styles (think marionettes, shadow puppets, and hand puppets!), and learn the basics of storytelling and performance. Throughout the week, they’ll team up to write scripts, build colorful scenery, and rehearse their very own puppet show. The grand finale? A Friday performance where family and friends are invited to enjoy the campers' creative talents on stage. Perfect for ages 6-12, this camp combines crafting, creativity, and performance arts into an unforgettable experience. Get ready for a week of storytelling, laughter, and applause! All our summer camps end the week with a camp party and a pizza lunch! Our camp schedule consists of 2 work periods where we make more detailed art projects. Students will also have independent time where they can play with their friends. We will include some outdoor play time to stretch our legs and burn some energy. Don’t forget to pack a water bottle and a nut free lunch and two snacks. Once registered, we will send you another email with more detailed information. Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
Parents/guardians are required to fill out Studio Mooi's Health, Safety & Liability Waiver before the first day of the program. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your child's participation in the program. Camps and classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the scheduled class time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
