Workshop Description
03/22/25 | 10:30am-1:30pm Join Sarah and dive into the world of oil pastels! If you’re new to oil pastels (or pastels in general!) this Intro to Oil Pastel Painting workshop will help you develop a beginner level understanding of oil pastels and their amazing capabilities. We’ll be working from life to create a floral still life on paper while learning the basics of composition, value, colour, and techniques. After our session, you’ll leave with a beautiful pastel painting ready to be framed and displayed! No experience with oil pastels or pastels in general is necessary. All materials will be provided. WORKSHOP DETAILS: AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 16+ LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED: Oil pastels Paper Blending tools Sundries (masking tape, ruler, pencils, etc.) All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know. BOOKING INFORMATION Your reservation is only complete once full payment is received. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
