Workshop Description
Drawing Fundamentals II 04/24/25 | 6:30pm to 9pm Take your drawing game to the next level and bring your sketches to life! In this next step of our drawing fundamentals series, we’ll move beyond simple shapes and lines and flow into the three-dimensional world. Building on what we explored in our level one Drawing Fundamentals class, this workshop aims to deepens your understanding of light and shadow, gesture and movement, and perspective—essential tools for making your drawings feel more dynamic and alive. Through hands-on exercises and guided practice and support from our facilitator Chantal, you’ll learn how to quickly capture a scene, use shading to create depth, and develop a stronger sense of space and form. Whether you’re continuing from our level one workshop, or joining fresh (no experience necessary), this session will give you new ways to see, sketch, and express your ideas visually with confidence! WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 11+ (if accompanied by a participating adult) LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary. MATERIALS PROVIDED Paper Pencils Coloured pencils Erasers Sketchbooks Participants are also welcome to bring in their own drawing tools and sketchbooks. Sketch kit with sketchbook, pencils, pens, and more available for purchase following the workshop. All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
