Workshop Description
Drawing Fundamentals 02/28/25 | 6:30pm to 8:30pm Unlock your creativity and build confidence in this fun and approachable introduction to drawing! Designed for absolute beginners, this workshop starts with playful warm-up exercises to help us loosen up and focus on observation. From there, we’ll learn the basics of line, shape, proportion, and shading. By the end of the session, you’ll have the tools to start sketching with a deeper understanding of fundamental techniques and some strategies to beat creative block. No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore! WORKSHOP DETAILS AGE APPROPRIATENESS: 11+ (accompanied by a participating adult) LEVEL: Beginner, no previous experience necessary. MATERIALS PROVIDED Paper Pencils Coloured pencils Erasers Sketchbooks Participants are also welcome to bring in their own drawing tools and sketchbooks. Sketch kit with sketchbook, pencils, pens, and more available for purchase following the workshop. All of our workshops include tea, coffee and something sweet. Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable and you cannot reschedule or transfer to another class. Our facilitators customize, purchase and prepare the materials for each participant in advance. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely okay, however we will need for you to provide their name, phone number and email address 24 hours before the class scheduled time either by email or phone. We are unable to transfer a credit after the class date has passed. Should any updated COVID restrictions require us to postpone classes, your ticket will be moved to a rescheduled date or converted to a Twelve (12) month credit that can be used to rebook into an alternative class at a later date.
